Static (set-up) zone

Also called: set-up zone

Where the tray and equipment wait: about 12 to 2 o'clock (right-handed operator).

The static zone, about 12 to 2 o'clock for a right-handed operator, is where the tray set-up, materials and small equipment such as timers and the curing light sit. It is out of the patient's direct view and within the assistant's reach.

What it is used for

  • Arrange instruments here in the order of use.
